These represent early, more traditional abstracts. They never became a fully realized body of work. (2008-2013)

Freezing Time: Winter in Yellowstone (1993-1999) my first major body of work - Over the course of seven winters I spent 182 days photographing winter in the park. Working alone in all types of weather I produced nearly 3,000 large-format negatives. Having time to concentrate on a single subject for an extended period sharpened my aesthetic and technical skills significantly. Images from this body of work have been widely exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and galleries.
